With the grand opening of the two sessions, topics like “Rule of Law”, “Comprehensive Ecological Improvement”, “Entrepreneurship” and “New Normal of Economic Growth” has raised people’s awareness. School of Public Administration held the event called “Simulation of The Two Sessions” as part of “Management Class Series Event”. We invited former university president Sun Weiyan, former vice university president Xu Yanchun, Party branch secretary Zhu Zhongtian as honored guest. Wang Yiran, the secretary of the Youth League Committee attended the discussion. Other student representatives from different Party branches also attended the events.
Wang Yiran, the secretary of the Youth League Committee introduced the purpose of the event which was to deepen students’ understanding of the spirit of The Two Sessions. Students would experience the responsibility of deputies to the two sessions and discuss about current affairs. She also pointed out that students from SPA should concern more about people’s livelihood and social development. They should be equipped with conscientiousness so that they may use their professionalism to analyze social problems.
After the brief introduction of activity flow, representatives from different Party branches gave their three-minutes presentation in turn. Their topics mainly covered four aspects: “Rule of Law”, “Comprehensive Ecological Improvement”, “Entrepreneurship” and “New Normal of Economic Growth”. Each topic had three groups whose proposals were logical. Their proposals include forbid the abuse of red-head document, legislation of animal protection, construction of offshore financial, perfection of health insurance, promotion of clean energy and support to collage students’ entrepreneurship. The proposals about collage students’ entrepreneurship were praised by the judges because of their subtle analysis and practical reform measures.
