Why did he devote himself in public service? How did he change? He started public service since 2010. He was once invited by a customer to go to the village in Hebei Province with a public interest group. When met with a girl who suffered from leukemia and a disabled young man, he was touched by the spirit of those volunteers and started to join in public service more and more. He said only when he recalled the memory did he understood that public service really changed him.

He not only joined in public service but also propagandized for it. He mentioned that he had put up posters at his working place, helped helpless elderly to contact helping center and disclosed those uncivilized behaviors. “You should believe that there are always some kind people”, said Dou.
