2013-12-4, 11:00, the commemorative “12.9” campaign serial event: Eco-friendly DIY works competition, organized by School of Public Administration, started at Hong Yuan Square.

The new form of DIY crafts competition appealed a great number of participants, and brought every school even closer. In the preliminary phrase, participants from all schools made astonishing work-pieces, with fully usage of group wisdom, achieving the goal of zero consumption and zero emission. At the venue, a lot of students came to the square to vote, even it was their lunch time. People stopped by every DIY craft and read about the introductory board, after which they gave out their votes to three crafts that they liked the most. Drawn by the long vote line, some professors also came to enjoy the great works. Despite of the cold weather, all the staff at the venue were really hospitable and did a great job explaining the background, content, and rules of our event. Staff from School of Public Administration devoted themselves into their duty, playing important roles in the event.
