A Speech of Wu Xijun, Deputy Director of Beijing Cultural Creative Industry Promotion Center
In the afternoon of Dec.11 2012, Wu Xijun, Deputy Director of Beijing Cultural Creative Industry Promotion Center, was invited to attend the series forum activities of cultural industry held by School of Public Administration (SPA), and delivered a lecture about the development status of Beijing cultural creative industry. This activity was chaired by Prof. Cui Xinsheng, Vice-President of SPA.
Mr. Wu made a specific introduction of national provision, stage characteristics and developing trend of China cultural industry and the developing status of Beijing. He also expressed his unique opinions on the form and development of DAD－Dashanzi Art District based on his working experience. Starting from the megascopic external developing environment of cultural industry and the unique consumption-guiding ability of creative products, Mr. Wu particularly mentioned the importance of breaking the fixed pattern of thinking to combine industries, integrate communities, take advantage of new media and combine technology and culture, and other hot spot issues. His earnest and detailed explanation won wide recognition from students and benefited them a lot.
Prof. Cui Xinsheng made comments at the end of the activity, and praised the excellent speech Mr. Wu gave and sent him the present on behalf of SPA.
