In the afternoon of April 4, 2018, the opening ceremony of A Special Exhibition of Customs and Intellectual Property Rights jointly sponsored by China Customs Museum and UIBE School of Public Administration was held at the hall of Ningyuan Building. Ping Zhao (Deputy Director, China Customs Museum), Jianxiang Chen (Deputy Party Secretary, UIBE), Xiaofeng Zhang (Deputy Director of Publicity Department of Party Committee, UIBE), Libo Fan (Dean of School of Public Administration, UIBE), Yun Teng ( Party Secretary, UIBE School of Public Administration), Shuwen Wang (Associate Dean, UIBE School of Public Administration), Weixia Lv（Associate Dean, UIBE School of Public Administration）, Liang Lei（Deputy Party Secretary, UIBE School of Public Administration）, Jinyong Sun (Deputy Director, Office of China Customs Museum ), Ye Lin (Deputy Director, Personnel and Security Department) and Xiaolin Han (Deputy Director, Exhibition Department) attended this opening ceremony.

Jianxiang Chen, Deputy Party Secretary of UIBE, gave a warm welcome to the guests from China Customs Museum. She said in her speech that the University of International Business and Economics embraced a good chance of cooperation with the China Customs Museum this spring. He noted that the arrival of China Customs Museum not only strengthened our friendship and relations, but also offered an opportunity for the future cooperation. Jianxiang Chen stressed in his speech that with close relationship between each other, University of International Business and Economics and China Customs Museum joined hands in various fields and achieved mutual benefit and win-win cooperation during our long-term cooperation. Finally, Jianxiang Chen wished that our friendship could be long-lasting and make more and bigger contributions to the China customs in the progress of us.

Ping Zhao, Deputy Director of China Customs Museum, reviewed the history of exchanges and good friendship with the UIBE. Thinking highly of the success of the special exhibition on the Construction of Belt and Road Initiative and its positive social influence, she compared the exhibition of this time to the home return. Besides, she also elaborated the background of this exhibition. China Customs has shouldered the responsibility of protecting intellectual property rights and has achieved a lot since 1994. However, our job also needs the understanding and support of the society. In view of it, China Customs Museum hold this special exhibition so as to give the society a better understanding on the responsibility and missions shouldered by China Customs in terms of intellectual property rights protection.
