SPA Achieved Great Success on 32th Advanced English Training Class for AQSIQ Business Talent
From Sept. 9 2015 to Dec. 29 2015, School of Public Administration (SPA) was entrusted by AQSIQ and held a 100-day Advanced English Training for AQSIQ Business Talent which achieved great success. Advanced English Training Class for AQSIQ Business Talent is the English training program for AQSIQ and its subordinate department, which has been developed for more than ten years and become a branding educational training program of SPA. It helped to develop plenty of English talents for AQSIQ and pushed forward the improvements of AQSIQ talents’ comprehensive quality.
SPA attached great importance to this training program. Excellent teachers, who ever studied abroad, improved their English comprehensively from listening, speaking, reading, writing and translating, and delivered business lecture by combining the QA business. Through in-class lecture, seminar, simulation practice, role play, observation, case analysis, comprehensive exercises, testing, exams, etc., the teachers combined English strongly with their work, so they can better practice English into work.
It’s worth to be mentioned that SPA also encouraged, guided and supported the students to practice what they learned by holding International Mock Meeting of “How to communicate in English”, which included the application of English slang, how to overcome the culture difference between China and Western countries, how to speak fluent English, how to avoid Chinglish, communication strategy to avoid embarrassment, and non-verbal communication skills for body language and mobile application. Through planning and preparation, the meeting made a comprehensive analysis and deep discussion about the above-mentioned topics and improved their ability in English communication skills.
Advanced English Training for AQSIQ Business Talent has been held for 32 times, and owning to the long-term cooperation and effective training, it was highly recognized by leaders of AQSIQ. The students expressed that through 3-month English training and business exchange with other students, their English and business knowledge has been improved a lot which would benefit the future work. At the same time, the positive learning atmosphere of UIBE and the earnest teaching attitude of the teachers left a very strong impression on students. The students expressed their sincerely thankful to the learning environment and excellent teachers SPA provided.
