In June 2017, Qin Zhou, the Associate Professor of the School of Public Administration was honored with the Australian-APEC Women in Research Fellowship International Cooperation Project. The project annually sponsors 10 female researchers from the APEC region to work together with Australian universities or research institutes to complete a four-month research project.

Associate Professor Qin Zhou is the sole scholar in Chinese mainland who won this funding in 2017. She has already conducted a study on the evaluation of the fairness and effectiveness of the Australian medical insurance system and its implications for China in the Australian National University.

The establishment of this international cooperation project has been a model for the dynamic international cooperation and exchanges in the School in recent years. Teachers in our School will continue to be encouraged to actively broaden channels for international cooperation so as to promote the further improvement of the internationalization of the School and enhance the academic influence of our School across the world.
